A proud graduate of the University of Baguio Prep High School from 1990, Miss Mildred A. Dacuycuy is an accomplished entrepreneur and business owner. She is the owner of Refmad Pitaya Food Productions and the operations manager for Dacuycuy Pitaya Resort in Ilocos Norte, both of which have been operating for seventeen years.
She graduated with a degree in Communication, possessing skills in web design, social media management, product photography, arts and crafts creation, international production line exhibitions, and desktop publishing. She also has an Advanced Diploma in Administration Leading to Management at Stratford College London in the United Kingdom, as well as a Diploma in English from London Essex College in London, United Kingdom.
She serves as one of the directors of the Philippine Dragon Fruit Grower’s Association, with her expertise centering on Dragonfruit Farm Development, Dragon Fruit Peel Utilization, and Product Development. She is also Vice President of the Local Dragonfruit Association, in Burgos, Ilocos Norte.
She has participated in international exhibitions like the Middle East Natural & Organic Produce Expo in Dubai, Le Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL CANADA), International Green Week 2014 at Messe Berlin, Germany, the 14th Natural & Organic Product Europe at Olympia, London, the International Food Expo in New Jersey, and the Fruit Logistica Messe in Berlin, Germany.
