The University of Baguio proudly congratulates Science High School alumna Ms. Foebe Jilianne Nerona for being accepted to the Korea Aerospace University (KAU) in South Korea.
A leading institution specializing in aviation and aerospace studies, KAU is a premiere institution for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies in aerospace engineering, aviation management, and air transportation. The university’s specialization in the field of STEM aligns with Ms. Nerona’s background with UB, as she began her journey as a junior high school student and eventually completed two additional years of senior high with the UB Science High School.
During her time at UB, she was a participant in the Korea-Philippines Youth Exchange Program hosted by the university in collaboration with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and the International Youth Council Korea. This opportunity gave her a chance to observe the educational system in the country and allowed her to form a network of connections that have helped her in her journey to apply for KAU.
