The University of Baguio did not only equip me with the knowledge, skills and values that I needed to be globally competitive, but it also was a home that cultivated and nurtured in me humility and wisdom.  With all these, I became a finer person with the conviction that everything, no matter how great and grand, started from the bottom, and gradually progressed and developed with constant learning along the way. Life is full of race and full of rush. Every page and every chapter turns into conflict, rivalry and battling that sometimes we find ourselves in a rat race.  I however should remain focused despite these episodes in life.  As I move on with life’s episodes, I must neither ask for more, nor settle for less.  I need to be enlightened that everything is simple.  I must grow in the wisdom that simplicity is contentment–the key to happiness.  This is how I embrace the humility and wisdom that the University of Baguio has instilled in me.  For all that was, and all that will be, I will forever be grateful to my Alma Mater.
