The University of Baguio equipped me with skills and competencies in the field of teaching which helped me become a competent and efficient teacher. As of this time, I am on my way to becoming a Licensed Professional Teacher, and this wouldn’t be possible without the support of the university, particularly the UBAFI and the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts. In addition, my experiences and learnings from the University of Baguio High School Department also helped me become a globally competitive individual.

Currently, I serve as the Association Secretary of the Philippine Association of Pre-Service Teachers, Inc., and am also the incumbent President of the Cipherians Organization, the official and recognized student organization of the BSED-Mathematics Program of the University of Baguio.

Throughout my term, I was able to organize activities such as seminars, webinars, trainings, and outreach programs. My recent endeavors include organizing webinar-workshops on Mathematics Teaching in the New Normal and Mathematics Tutorial for struggling students in the Junior High School. I also actively participated in some speaking engagements. This includes my recent participation as a panel discussant in the INTI International Leadership Forum and Roundtable Discussion, Resource Speaker in the PAFTE-CAR Webinar, and Resource Speaker during the UBHS Academic and Skills Olympics 2022.

All these, among other accomplishments and opportunities which UB opened for me, served as a testament to how the red, white, and gray university can change a person. And I hope more students would be more than lucky to experience the same thing.
