Ms. Lean Marlette Maquito (RCRIM, EMT) is an esteemed graduate of the University of Baguio Senior High School. Studying under the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand, she spent her time learning integral skills that have helped her pursuit of professional success in the long run. She officially graduated in 2019 and went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Criminology at a different university.
Following the completion of her degree in 2022, she then went on to apply for the Fire Officer Exam, successfully passing and becoming a certified Fire Officer. In 2023, she became an Emergency Medical Technician after finishing a vocational course on Philippine Health Emergency Medical and Safety Service. Among her other notable achievements during this period were being a National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) passer and a Civil Service Professional Passer. She also became a Registered Criminologist and completed her Juris Doctor degree during this time.
In 2024, she officially joined the Baguio City Disaster Risk Reduction Management (BDRRM) Office as a Special Operation Support Staff. Among her responsibilities is communicating public warnings and advisories to the general public, providing support resource management, and serving as a member of the medical crew during city events.
Her extensive list of accomplishments is a testament to her determination and purpose, embodying the competence, integrity, and service-driven nature that UB graduates are known for. She serves as an inspiration to current and future UBians who aspire to create a meaningful impact in their chosen fields.
