Alumni Spotlight: Jessie James V. Llamado

A proud graduate of the School of Business Administration and Accountancy, Jessie James Llamado is a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a major in Finance. He graduated in 2007 and pursued a career with Procter & Gamble (P&G), best known for their products like Tide and Downy and for being one of the best fast-moving consumer groups (FMCG) in the world.

After his work with P&G, he decided to pursue professional speaking and sought out the mentorship of acclaimed motivational speaker Mr. Jason Lo. He then went into a career in teaching financial literacy programs at universities like the University of Santo Tomas (UST), De La Salle University (DLSU), and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). He also taught local and international companies like San Miguel, Ayala Land, Universal Robina Corporation (URC), and P&G.

As his acclaim further grew, he was invited to speak on programs such as the 700 Club (GMA), DZMM Teleradyo (ABS-CBN), Tee Radio, and Light TV Network as a financial expert. He also co-authored a book titled “Gameplan of the Underdog”, alongside other speakers from Elevaxion (pronounced elevation), a Christian Non-Profit Organization he co-founded that seeks to train and empower servant leaders and support vulnerable communities.

Under his leadership, Elevaxion has helped 1,053 families in Puray, Rizal since 2020. The organization was also recognized by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) in 2022 as a champion against corruption.

He’s also a member of the Rotary Club of Ermita Manila and has been active since 2014. 

Apart from his work with finance and outreach, he’s also a licensed real estate broker and a Registered Financial Planner (RFP). He is the co-founder as well as the sales and business development director of JML2 Realty.

Mr. Llamado’s rich career and expertise are shining reflections of the university’s mission to build empowered professionals, showcasing his exemplary mastery of his craft and his unwavering dedication to helping the members of his community. He continues to be an inspiration and a beacon of excellence, embodying the competence and integrity that lie at the heart of every student of the University of Baguio.
