A distinguished graduate of the University of Baguio School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (UB SIHTM), Adrian A. Fernandez is a Master of Business Administration and an active community leader.
He excelled in academics, graduating Cum Laude in Tourism, and being among the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines in the Cordillera Administrative Region. During his time as a student, he was also recognized as the Outstanding Youth Leader of Baguio, highlighting his exceptional leadership qualities alongside his academic achievements.
After graduating, he became a college instructor and a student organization adviser at UB’s School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management. After his work with UB, he pursued a career in government service, first serving as Administrative Assistant III for the Department of Tourism’s regional office before later becoming a Tourism Operations Officer.
Currently, he is a freelance Training and Market Specialist as well as a Department of Tourism (DOT) accredited tour guide. Apart from his freelance work, he is also the president of the OSCAR Alumni Community Inc. and an organization officer of BLISTT Tour Guides.
Outside of his professional work, he also endeavors to give back to the community as an active member of the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands and the Local Youth Development Council of Baguio.
His services to the community and his alma mater are indicative of his drive to work and help others. Mr. Fernandez is an upstanding alumni who embodies the excellence and values carried by UB graduates, a shining example of the perfection that the university strives to instill in its students.
